(2) Licorice and pear stewed with pig lungs: 10 grams of licorice, 2 pears, and about 250 grams of pig lungs. Peel the pears and cut them into pieces. Wash the pig lungs and cut them into slices. Squeeze out the foam and put them in a casserole with the licorice. Add a little rock sugar and an appropriate amount of water and simmer over low heat for 3 hours before taking. Take once a day.

(3) Rock sugar almond paste: 15g sweet almonds, 3g bitter almonds, 50g polished rice, and appropriate amount of rock sugar. Soak the sweet almonds and bitter almonds in water until soft, peel them, mash them, add polished rice, water and rock sugar, and cook into a thick porridge. Eat it every other day.

(4) Ginkgo and Red Dates Porridge: 25g of ginkgo, 20 red dates, and 50g of glutinous rice. Cook the ginkgo, red dates, and glutinous rice together to make porridge. Take it warm on an empty stomach in the morning or evening. It has the effects of detoxification and swelling.

It is suitable for patients with advanced lung cancer who have difficulty breathing, general weakness and excessive phlegm.

(7) Schisandra stewed with meat: 50g Schisandra, appropriate amount of duck or lean pork. Steam or stew the Schisandra with the meat, and add seasoning as appropriate. Take the meat, medicine, and soup together to nourish the lungs and kidneys, relieve cough and asthma, and is suitable for patients with kidney deficiency type of lung cancer.

(8) Lotus seed chicken: 15g lotus seed, chicken, duck or pork. Stew the lotus seed and meat until cooked, then add appropriate seasoning. Regular consumption can nourish the lungs, replenish qi and promote the production of body fluids. Suitable for lung cancer patients with insufficient qi and blood.

(9) Winter melon peel and broad bean soup: 60 grams of winter melon peel, 60 grams of winter melon seeds, and 60 grams of broad beans. Put the above ingredients into a pot, add 3 bowls of water and simmer until 1 bowl is left. Add appropriate seasonings and remove the residue to drink. It has the effects of removing dampness, promoting diuresis, and reducing swelling. It is suitable for patients with lung cancer and pleural effusion.
