1. The sock opening and sock tube should be of appropriate tightness, the sock sole should be loose, the sock heel should be large, the sock surface should be smooth, the cuffs should be flat and not skewed, the needle pattern should be clear, and there should be no exposed needles in the pattern, sock toe, and sock heel.

2. The color should be consistent with the lining of the shoes as much as possible. When buying children's socks, give priority to light-colored ones. The brighter the color, the more chemical ingredients are added to it.

3. Give priority to socks made mainly of cotton fibers with an appropriate amount of elastic fibers.

4. Consider its purpose and who will wear it. For example, daily wear should be comfortable and breathable, while sports wear should be soft and wear-resistant. People with sweaty feet should choose cotton socks that are both breathable and moisture-absorbent, and those with dry and cracked feet should choose polyester and nylon socks with poor moisture absorption. Children's socks should try to choose socks with simple structure, light colors, and smooth surfaces, and avoid socks with dotted lines exposed.

5. When washing socks, do not rub them hard. The water temperature for washing socks should not exceed 40℃, otherwise the socks will shrink after being heated, the soles of the socks will become smaller, and even the socks will harden and deteriorate. In order to maintain the original luster of the socks, it is best not to use soap containing too much alkali. Just rub it gently with your hands, rinse it with clean water, and put it in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

In addition, when choosing, you should also consider whether the tightness of the sock opening is appropriate. If the sock opening is too tight, you may use a cardboard box to prop up the sock opening, and then gently iron the sock opening with a steam iron to easily "fatter" the sock opening.
