Ways to relieve tension

1. Relax

The body is a house and the spirit should fill every room in it. Static and dynamic relaxation and mindfulness can help us do this. Here are a few training methods that are suitable for everyone, unlike drugs, which have contraindications for certain groups of people.

Quietly enter your body

Stand up, close your eyes, and forcefully exhale the air from your lungs. Then inhale and slowly let your stomach, throat, and shoulders expand. Hold your breath and relax while dancing like a puppet. When you can't hold your breath, exhale deeply. Do this 3 times, then open your eyes after you resume normal breathing. This is an ideal training method to gently wake up your body and make you feel the care you are giving it.

Stimulate brain acuity

Lie flat on your back with your hands on your abdomen, fingers touching, and breathe in slowly and long through your nose, counting to 5. The lungs and abdomen are inflated and the fingers are spread apart. Hold your breath for 5 minutes, then start exhaling, count to 10, and then exhale. This ancient relaxation technique (do 10 times) slows the heart's contractions and allows energy to circulate more freely. Doing so also provides oxygen to the brain. After calming down, your thoughts will be clear and your mind will be clear.

Reconnecting with your body

Lie on your back with your arms and legs slightly apart, palms facing up, eyes closed, take three deep breaths, focus your mind on your body, and completely empty your body with each exhalation. From your toes to the top of your head, contract each muscle in turn and then relax. Feel each muscle carefully. The shoulders and head should rotate, not contract. This set of movements is very relaxing (you only need to do it once) and eliminates tension. This is a great way to discover the body through details.

Increase your vigilance

Sit down with your eyes closed and your whole body relaxed. Lean your back straight on the cushion, put your feet flat, and place your hands on your thighs. Carefully feel the heaviness of your limbs while slowly repeating in your mind (3 to 5 minutes) the following sentences: "My right arm is heavy," "My left arm is heavy," "My both arms are heavy." The same goes for legs. Finally, silently say: "My arms and legs are heavy." Pause after each recitation. This kind of self-suggestion can improve concentration.

2. Walking

Don't walk like a robot or a model. It's best to find a walking style that reflects your personality. To allow your body to stretch in space, you must first feel the subtle movements of walking. Do this exercise for as long as possible until you feel the desired sensation throughout your body.

Light on the Step

Slowly take one foot forward. During this extremely slow process, carefully feel how your feet land and how the point of force transitions from your heels to your toes. Pull your feet back. We are experiencing the feeling of stretching in our joints (toes, ankles, knees, waist, shoulders and neck) and the way our bodies move. This is a great exercise for awakening parts of the body that are normally overused but neglected. Effect after treatment: Body becomes soft, flexible...feels lighter than before!

Walk with your head held high

Place a small bag of rice or something else on your head and walk forward. You can hold it with your hands. Take a moment to feel the vertical axis of your body. At this time, the posture of the head is natural and upright, the neck is also straight, and the person's posture is more graceful.

Open yourself up

Shrug your shoulders a few times. Feel the change that has taken place. Your shoulders will find their most comfortable position. They often endure our nervousness. Thinking about relaxing your shoulders as you walk can eliminate any gloomy facial expressions and help your arms swing more naturally.
