The incidence of lung cancer ranks first among malignant tumors. The incidence in men is higher than that in women, with a male-female ratio of about 8:4. Because lung cancer originates from the bronchial mucosal epithelium, it is also called bronchial lung cancer. So, what are the dietary health care for lung cancer patients after surgery?

1. Health care recipes. 1. Ginkgo jujube porridge: Take 25 grams of ginkgo, 20 red dates, and 50 grams of glutinous rice. Cook the ginkgo, red dates, and glutinous rice together to make porridge. Take it warm on an empty stomach in the morning and evening, which has the effect of detoxification and swelling. 2. Rock sugar almond paste: Take 15 grams of sweet almonds, 3 grams of bitter almonds, 50 grams of polished rice, and an appropriate amount of rock sugar. Soak the sweet almonds and bitter almonds in clean water until soft and peeled, mash them, add polished rice, clean water, and rock sugar to cook into thick porridge, once every other day. It has the effects of moistening the lungs and removing phlegm, moistening the intestines, and relieving cough and asthma.

2. Supplement comprehensive nutrition. Patients need to eat 200g~500g of cereals, 250ml of milk, 125g~250g of meat, fish and eggs, 50g of soy products, 400g~500g of vegetables, and 100g~200g of fruits every day. When choosing vegetables, it is advisable to choose nutritious red, orange, and dark green vegetables. Leafy vegetables should have a certain amount, and they should be eaten with fungi that can increase immunity, such as stewed duck with mushrooms and stewed chicken with cloud ears. Cooking methods that are easy to digest, such as stewing, boiling, frying, and steaming, should be adopted. Diversified meals and small and frequent meals are beneficial to increase appetite, food intake, and promote digestion and absorption.
