Almost everyone has experienced a fever. No one likes the feeling of feeling weak all over and alternating hot and cold. But few people can clearly explain the normal body temperature range. This is not funny, but a fact. If you feel hot and cold, it means that the fever is very serious. If you want to feel less uncomfortable, you should nip the signs of high fever in the bud and prevent it from developing into a high fever. So what is the normal range of body temperature? How should it be measured scientifically? How is a person's body temperature different at different times of the day? Are there differences among different groups of people? I believe many people have such questions. The following is an introduction from several aspects. The body temperature referred to clinically is the average deep temperature. The body temperature is generally represented by the mouth, rectum and armpit, among which the rectal temperature is closest to the deep body temperature. Normal values: oral sublingual temperature is 37°C (range 36.5-37.5°C), rectal temperature is 37.5°C (higher than oral temperature (0.3-0.5°C), axillary temperature is 36.5°C (range 36.0°C-37.0°C). Normal value of body temperature and measurement method 1. Oral measurement method: First disinfect the thermometer with 75% alcohol, place it under the tongue, close the lips, leave it for 5 minutes and then take it out to read the temperature. The normal value is 36.3~37.2℃. 2. Axillary measurement: This method is not prone to cross infection and is the most commonly used method for measuring body temperature. Wipe the sweat from the armpits, place the mercury end of the thermometer on the top of the armpits, clamp it with the upper arm thermometer, and ask the patient not to move. Read the temperature after 10 minutes. The normal value is 36~37℃. 3. Rectal measurement method: mostly used for comatose patients or children. The patient lies on his back, lubricates the head of the rectal gauge with oil, and slowly inserts it into the anus until it reaches 1/2 of the rectal gauge. Read the temperature after 3 minutes. The normal value is 36.5~37.7℃. The body temperature of a normal person fluctuates slightly within 24 hours, generally not exceeding 1℃. Under physiological conditions, it is slightly lower in the morning and slightly higher in the afternoon or after exercise and eating. The body temperature of the elderly is slightly lower, and that of women is slightly higher before menstruation or during pregnancy. An abnormal body temperature of 37.4~38℃ is a low fever, 38.1~39℃ is a moderate fever, 39.1~41℃ is a high fever, and above 41℃ is a very high fever. Through this introduction, we can understand that the normal body temperature range can be tested in many ways, with various differences. Therefore, we cannot simply judge whether a person's body temperature is normal. We must combine it with personal feelings. Once you have a fever, you should actively take various measures to reduce it. You must choose physical medicines that are suitable for you, but understanding the range of normal body temperature is the first and foremost thing. |
