4. In general, gas pipes should be connected with thick pipes, especially for artificial gas water heaters. Liquefied petroleum gas water heaters can be connected with thin pipes, but the inner diameter of the connecting pipe of a 5-liter water heater must not be less than 9 mm. The inner diameter of the air inlet connecting pipe of a 5-liter water heater should be no less than 10 mm, and that of an 8-liter water heater should be no less than 12 mm.

5. The gas pipe and water pipe connecting the gas water heater should not be too long. If connected with a hose, the gas pipe should not exceed 1.2 meters and the water pipe should not exceed 3 meters. They should be well supported and fixed to avoid twisting and breaking. The water heater should be resistant to high temperatures and should be checked regularly to avoid water leaks.
