Electronic thermometer

Electronic thermometer

China's development history is not only about politics and economy, but also about China's performance in the face of natural disasters and man-made disasters, such as SARS. People born after the 1990s probably don’t have a very clear impression of SARS. At that time, it could be said that the mention of SARS would make people horrified. At that time, the National Ministry of Health also required every school to have students measure their body temperature every day and then report it to the school, which would then compile and submit it to the Education Bureau.

It can be said that thermometers were the best-selling item at that time. Not only schools, but also state-owned units and some private enterprises were required to measure body temperature. We also need to pay attention to disinfection at home, maintain air circulation, and try to avoid crowded places. Once a patient with a high fever is found, he or she will be immediately sent to the hospital for isolation and treatment. Of course, there are now electronic thermometers.

Usage: 1. Before using the thermometer, disinfect the thermometer head with alcohol.

2. Press the switch, the buzzer will immediately sound and the display will show as Figure A for about 2 seconds.

3. The display then shows the last measured temperature as shown in Figure B (assuming the last measurement was 36.5°C) and lasts for about 2 seconds. Then the display may show something like Figure C. The "℃" symbol flashes, indicating that the thermometer is in standby mode. (If the room temperature is higher than 32℃, the thermometer will display the room temperature instead of the temperature shown in Figure D, and the "℃" symbol will flash continuously)

4. Use the thermometer to measure body temperature. When taking body temperature, the displayed temperature value gradually rises and the "℃" symbol keeps flashing.

5. When the temperature rises less than 0.1℃ within 16 seconds, the "℃" symbol stops flashing and the thermometer emits a beeping sound for about 5 seconds. The thermometer then completes the measurement and the displayed temperature value can be read.

6. The thermometer has an automatic shutdown function and will automatically shut down within 10 minutes after the measurement is completed. However, in order to extend the battery life, it is recommended that the user press the power button to turn off the power after the measurement is completed.

The traditional thermometer is very easy to use and can be said to be something that people of all ages can use. It is easy to understand and use. However, it also has a big disadvantage. Because it is an axillary type, the measurement data will have a large error and the measured value has a large uncertainty. Therefore, there is an electronic thermometer, which is also very easy to use, with a small error, and the measurement place can be the temple and other body parts.
