Neurological insomnia

Neurological insomnia

Neurotic insomnia is a neurological disease. This situation is very common in normal times. But we must know that neurotic insomnia is not insomnia in the true sense. Instead, it is caused by the patient's own influence of unknown things, which leads to a wrong understanding of other things, causing great panic and making it impossible to fall asleep. This phenomenon is called neurotic insomnia.

Neurological insomnia is a very common phenomenon. This situation is mainly because the patients themselves resist sleep for a long time, which causes serious damage to their body and mind. If it is not treated in time, it will directly induce some other physiological diseases, such as memory loss, the occurrence of hypertension, etc.

Treating insomnia is a gradual process that requires mutual trust. In particular, the attending physician must start with psychological communication with the patient, stand in the patient's perspective, and understand their anxiety to fall asleep as quickly as possible. Then let them understand that the more anxious and concerned they are, the harder it will be to fall asleep, and too much effort will lead to the opposite effect. It’s best to let them relax mentally and think “sleep as much as they can”. Because human sleep is a natural process, people should obey this "nature" instead of forcing it.

Insist on bed rest. Regardless of whether you can sleep normally or not, you should stay in bed for about 8 hours, and get up on time and carry out daytime activities like a normal person. Please note that you should not stay in bed for too long. If you intentionally extend the time in bed, it will disrupt your sleep curve and make it more difficult for your sleep to return to normal.

When we treat neurotic insomnia, we must understand the reasons for the inability to sleep, for example, what things have affected our sleep due to neurotic insomnia. Only in this way can we avoid non-targeted treatments, allow our disease to be diagnosed and treated reasonably as soon as possible, and achieve recovery as soon as possible.
