Long-term use of computers can cause sudden deafness

There are many causes of sudden deafness, including viral infection, labyrinth edema, inner ear microcirculation disorder, circulatory system disease, labyrinth window membrane rupture, anger, flying, excessive fatigue, mental stress, and strong noise stimulation. The incidence rate has increased significantly in the past two decades. According to statistics, some patients with sudden deafness suffer from it because of watching TV and using computers for a long time.

Watching TV or using a computer for a long time will cause a lot of electromagnetic radiation due to the excessive heat of the monitor. It will ionize the air, continuously generate positive charges (positive ions), and continuously neutralize them with the negative ions in the air, resulting in almost zero negative ion content. Negative ions are beneficial, while positive ions are harmful. If you are in an environment with too many positive ions for a long time, they will enter the lungs through breathing and then be transported to various tissues of the human body through blood circulation, making the blood and body fluids acidic, delaying the body's normal metabolic function and causing toxins to accumulate in the body. It can cause decreased immunity, insomnia, endocrine disorders in women, skin allergies, dry eyes, weakened brain function, tinnitus, dizziness, and in severe cases, sudden hearing loss.

Therefore, people who watch TV or use computers for a long time must pay attention to moderation. They should stay away from the computer for 15 to 20 minutes after working for an hour, do some aerobic exercise, wash their face frequently, and use LCD monitors as much as possible. Comrades who already have tinnitus and hearing loss should watch TV for about half an hour a day and use the computer for half an hour to an hour.

In clinical work, it is found that if patients with tinnitus and deafness watch TV or use computers for a long time during the treatment process, it will affect the treatment effect, or the treatment will be ineffective, and even cause the tinnitus to worsen and the hearing to decrease. Therefore, we recommend that patients with tinnitus and deafness watch less TV and use less computers every day during the treatment process, and try not to watch TV or use computers.
