May I ask what medicine I can take to control the condition of lung cancer

Since lung cancer is a malignant tumor, it can cause some chest pain, cough, sputum, hemoptysis, and dyspnea. These clinical manifestations, but lung cancer patients are recommended to undergo surgery or surgical treatment. They should go to the hospital for surgery early and directly remove the tumor. Regular follow-up should be performed after surgery to determine whether further radiotherapy and chemotherapy are needed. Early lung cancer does not invade surrounding important tissues and organs, and does not metastasize to distant sites. Radical resection should be performed as much as possible. Whether postoperative treatment is needed is determined based on the patient's specific pathological conditions. Some high-risk lung cancer patients may require radiotherapy or chemotherapy after surgery. At present, there are many treatments for non-small cell lung cancer. For example, for lung adenocarcinoma, in addition to surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, genetic testing for EGRF gene mutations can also be performed, and targeted drugs such as gefitinib and erlotinib can be taken.

What causes lung cancer?

Lung cancer patients will have coughing symptoms in the early stage, blood in sputum, and obvious chest pain. Some patients will have fever, difficulty breathing, and affect language expression. Pay attention and treat it as soon as possible, but many people do not know what causes lung cancer. It is currently believed that the most likely cause of lung cancer is smoking. There are a lot of toxic substances in tobacco. People who smoke for a long time accumulate toxic substances in their lungs, which cannot be completely excreted from the body and are prone to disease. People who smoke frequently are advised to quit smoking. The incidence of lung cancer is related to exposure to radioactive substances. Some patients may also increase the incidence of lung cancer due to breast cancer or lymphoma.

How long can you live after mid-stage lung cancer surgery?

In the middle and late stages, how long you can live with lung cancer depends on the patient's physical condition, mentality, and the hospital's treatment methods. The 5-year survival rate of small cell lung cancer is relatively low, but it also depends on the response after treatment. The survival period is affected by factors such as the malignancy of the tumor, the speed of postoperative recurrence, the speed of tumor growth, and the sensitivity of radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Therefore, there are individual differences in the survival period, and it can survive for a few years, a few months, or one or two years. If this is considered, these patients need radiotherapy and chemotherapy as adjuvant treatment.
