How to treat stage three cervical cancer

Stage III cervical cancer is a more serious stage. Usually, the lesion invades the lower 1/3 of the vagina and the pelvic wall, and involves the pelvic lymph nodes. The opportunity for surgical treatment has been lost, and radiotherapy is the only option. The prognosis is not very good, and the 5-year survival rate is about 40%. Stage III cervical cancer is a mid-to-late stage of cervical cancer, and the tumor has spread to the pelvic wall. Concurrent chemoradiotherapy is chemotherapy on top of radiotherapy. Radiotherapy includes external irradiation and internal irradiation, and it takes about seven weeks in total. After treatment, pelvic magnetic resonance imaging and colposcopy are reviewed.

What medicine should I take for early cervical cancer?

Patients with early cervical cancer, once diagnosed, should consider surgical treatment. The cure rate of surgical treatment in the early stage is very high, and very few can achieve clinical cure and no recurrence, so there is no need to take medicine to control the spread of cancer cells. If it is in the early stage of cervical cancer, drug treatment is not recommended as the main treatment, and surgical treatment should be performed. At present, cervical cancer can be detected early. Women who receive early treatment should undergo regular cervical cancer screening to fully achieve early detection. Women should exercise more to improve their body's immunity. Whether patients with early cervical cancer need to use medication to further control the disease needs to be analyzed in combination with the patient's specific condition.

Is the cure rate high for early cervical cancer?

At present, the cure rate of early cervical cancer is relatively high. After the diagnosis is clear, surgical treatment is the first choice. The specific surgical method needs to be determined according to the patient's condition. Minimally invasive surgical methods and open surgical methods are relatively common. Most of them require total hysterectomy, pelvic lymph node dissection and bilateral adnexectomy when necessary. Cervical cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in the vaginal part of the uterus and the cervical canal. It is the most common gynecological malignancy. It originates from cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and is mainly caused by human papillomavirus infection. Cervical cancer can be cured in the early stages. As long as the correct treatment method is chosen and proper maintenance is performed after surgery, early cervical cancer can be cured.
