How to eat and what fruits can patients with nasopharyngeal cancer eat

If you have nasopharyngeal cancer, patients and friends should face it positively and pay attention to diet. Let's introduce how to eat nasopharyngeal cancer. What fruits can you eat?

Among the many symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer, runny nose is a common early symptom of nasopharyngeal cancer, which manifests as blood in the runny nose, or blood in the runny nose when sucked out of the mouth, also known as blood in suction. Runny nose usually occurs in the morning after getting up. When the amount of runny nose and blood is small, patients tend to ignore runny nose and sinusitis, or regard it as hemoptysis.

Patients are advised to eat more fruits:

1. Hawthorn. Hawthorn is often used to stimulate appetite, digestion, and lower blood lipids. It can also promote blood circulation, eliminate blood stasis, eliminate stagnation and accumulation, inhibit the growth of cancer cells, and is rich in vitamin C. It is suitable for patients with digestive tract and female reproductive system cancers.

2. Oranges. Citrus fruits such as oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons, and kumquats are rich in vitamin C and are suitable for patients with digestive tract, laryngeal, and lung tumors. They can prevent the formation of nitrosamines.

3. Bananas. Bananas can clear away heat and promote bowel movements. They are rich in magnesium and have anti-cancer effects. Studies have found that banana extract has a significant inhibitory effect on carcinogens such as aflatoxin, benzo[a]pyrene, and nitroquinoline oxide.
