It is not possible to generalize how long a patient with lymphoma can live, as is the case with any cancer. However, lymphoma is a relatively easy-to-treat malignant tumor with a better prognosis. Patients in the early stages of the disease are completely likely to be cured, meaning that they can live to their natural age. For patients with advanced lymphoma, some patients who are still in good health can live with the tumor for a long time if they receive effective systematic treatment.

Clinical data show that the 5-year survival rate of advanced lymphoma is about 30%. How long a patient with lymphoma can survive depends on the clinical stage and tissue typing. In pathology, lymphoma is divided into two categories: Hodgkin's disease (HD) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). The prognosis of HD is significantly better than that of NHL, and the 5-year survival rate of most patients with HDI and stage II can reach 98%.

If the patients are asymptomatic in stage III, 65%-75% of them can be cured, so the relevant materials list Hodgkin's disease as a curable malignant tumor.
