How long can you live if liver cancer spreads in the late stage

How long can you live if liver cancer spreads to the late stage?

1. Liver cancer has spread, indicating that the condition is gradually worsening. In this case, how long the patient can live depends entirely on awareness and follow-up care. A relatively short period may be more than ten days, and if it is relatively long, it may take several months.

2. During this period, some Chinese medicine can be taken orally to help patients regulate their bodies and prolong their survival time. For some patients with liver malignancies, if the tumor metastasizes to other organ sites, in this case, the survival time is mainly considered 3-6 about a month. Some patients may survive. 3-6 After receiving active and effective symptomatic supportive treatment, some patients are likely to survive for 1-2 years, or even longer.

Early symptoms and signs of liver cancer

The main cause of primary liver cancer is often hepatitis B-related liver cancer. More than 80% of primary liver cancer in my country is related to hepatitis B, and the early symptoms of liver cancer are often not very typical. Only in the middle and late stages can it manifest as progressive weight loss, even enlarged lymph nodes, swelling and pain in the liver area. If early liver cancer is found, it is necessary to go to the hospital for regular check-ups, especially for high-risk groups.

If there is a history of hepatitis B, hepatitis and cirrhosis, or even a family history of primary liver cancer, these people must go to the hospital regularly to check alpha-fetoprotein and imaging. If signs of liver cancer are found, further examinations should be performed, such as enhanced MRI and enhanced CT, to confirm whether it is primary liver cancer.

The early symptoms of liver cancer are mainly discomfort or pain in the liver area. The nature of the pain is mainly dull pain, swelling or dull pain, and may also be accompanied by non-specific gastrointestinal symptoms, such as abdominal distension, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite and aversion to greasy food. At the same time, advanced liver cancer may also cause symptoms such as pain in the liver area, weight loss, hepatic coma, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.
