Moxibustion on the soles of the feet is a common method of health care. This method has many benefits for our body, because there are many acupuncture points on the soles of the feet, which are the reflex areas of many of our internal organs. Frequent moxibustion on the soles of the feet is very beneficial to our internal organs. Some people are prone to sweating when moxibustion on the soles of the feet, so what is the reason for sweating on the soles of the feet?

Reasons for sweating on the soles of feet after moxibustion

Some people have more sweat glands on their feet and sweat a lot, which is often related to genetic factors. Some people's nerves that control the sweat glands in the feet are too abundant and sensitive. The nerves that control the sweat glands are distributed in the sympathetic nerves on the skin. Whenever you walk or run, or even when you are nervous or emotionally excited, the sympathetic nerves are in a highly excited state, and the sweat glands secrete a large amount of sweat. Others are caused by wearing rubber shoes that are not breathable, which prevents the sweat from evaporating and dissipating in time.

What to do if your soles sweat after moxibustion

1. Wear ventilated and breathable cotton socks and change and wash them every day.

2. Avoid wearing rubber shoes or non-breathable shoes. It is best to have two pairs of shoes to change into. Sandals are the best choice.

3. Do not share shoes, slippers or socks with others.

4. Try not to scratch the soles of your feet or between your toes if they itch to prevent the infection from spreading to your fingers.

Moxibustion treatment of athlete's foot

1. Soak your feet in hot water before moxibustion. You can add salt, vinegar or pepper to the foot washing water. Only one of the three can be added. You should not soak your feet in salt frequently, and if your feet are rotten, do not use vinegar.

2. Dry your feet. Be sure to wipe dry. Your feet must be dried after washing, even if you don't have athlete's foot.

3. Focus on moxibustion at Zusanli, Sanyinjiao, Yongquan and Yanglingquan, especially Yongquan.

4. If there are blisters, it is best to use a needle to burn it red on an alcohol lamp and then puncture it, and then apply moxibustion on the blisters.

5. Moxibustion can also be applied to itchy areas and ulcerated areas. If there is sore skin, blisters, cracks or itching between the toes, you can use moxibustion. Generally, the itching can be relieved immediately within 15-25 minutes, and the blisters will slowly collapse.

6. If there are ulcers between the toes, you can focus on moxibustion on the Xiaxi acupoint.

7. Some people have sweaty feet. Put a bag of wormwood ash in the used shoes, which has a good moisture-absorbing effect.
