Does skin cancer cause itching?

It will itch. The most obvious early symptom of skin cancer is changes in the skin, such as long bags on the skin or ulcers that will not heal. Different skin cancers have different precancerous manifestations. Some skin cancers may begin as small smooth, pale or waxy bumps. Sometimes the bumps bleed or develop scabs. Sometimes skin cancer begins as rough, dry or scaly red spots. When the body is "itchy", people often think that it is caused by uncleanliness. In fact, "itching" is also a manifestation of physical illness, and sometimes even the external manifestation of some malignant tumors in the body.

How to effectively prevent skin cancer?

1. In daily life, try to avoid long-term contact with harmful chemicals such as asphalt and tar, which are highly carcinogenic. Workers who must be exposed to harmful chemicals for a long time due to work needs should have good labor protection.

2. Consciously protect our living environment and do not burn tires, plastics, electrical wires and other materials at will.

3. Prevent long-term skin exposure. Medical scientists have found that ultraviolet radiation can induce skin cancer. Farmers, fishermen and field workers who work in the sun for a long time are more likely to develop skin cancer than indoor workers. So when working and playing outdoors, you can apply some sunscreen and other items.

4. Pay attention to ionizing radiation, especially for radiation workers.

5. Actively treat the primary disease. Patients with precancerous lesions such as actinic keratosis and xeroderma pigmentosum should be treated as soon as possible to kill skin cancer in its infancy.

6. Strengthen exercise and improve physical fitness. Traditional Chinese medicine says: "When the positive energy is inside, the evil cannot enter."
