Can cervical cancer be cured?

Early cervical cancer can be cured. There are many factors that affect the treatment of cervical cancer, including clinical stage, lymph node metastasis, pathological type, treatment method, etc. Cervical cancer develops slowly. Generally speaking, if it can be found, diagnosed and treated early, the effect of surgery and radiotherapy is certain. Cervical cancer patients must face reality, maintain an optimistic attitude, and cooperate with doctors for active treatment.

Cervical cancer is a common gynecological malignancy in women. If cervical cancer can be detected and treated early, the disease can be treated. But if it is in the late stage, the treatment effect of this disease is relatively poor. Therefore, early detection and early treatment of cervical cancer are necessary. Early cervical cancer usually has no obvious symptoms. If symptoms occur, it is already in the middle and late stages. The symptoms in the middle and late stages will include swelling and pain in the lower limbs; urgency to urinate, hematuria, swelling of the anus, blood in the stool, and difficulty in defecation; the main physical manifestations are weight loss and anemia. Vaginal secretions also increase in nature, such as watery, rice soup-like, pus and blood, etc. If you find this symptom, you must pay attention. Go to the hospital for examination and treatment as soon as possible.

Cervical cancer from stage I to stage IIa is early stage cervical cancer. Through regular treatment and postoperative radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the cure rate can reach 90%. Early detection and early treatment of cervical cancer have a high cure rate. However, formal treatment must be carried out in a public hospital above level II, because cervical cancer surgery is relatively large, requiring extensive total hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node cleaning, and para-aortic lymph node biopsy if necessary. Therefore, this type of surgery is more difficult to perform, and the environment and technology required for the surgery are also relatively high.
