Osteosarcoma type

Osteosarcoma type

Osteosarcoma is a common benign tumor in clinical practice, but it is prone to recurrence and metastasis. Relevant imaging examinations, such as X-ray CT, can help evaluate the size and location of the tumor and classify it to guide the selection of clinical treatment options. Most osteosarcomas require surgical treatment. Radiotherapy, which has been used in recent years, can also achieve good results for this disease and preserve limb function. It is usually the main choice in clinical practice. For osteosarcoma with distant metastasis, the treatment effect may be poor.

What happens to sacral sarcoma?

Sacral sarcoma is also a relatively difficult-to-treat malignant tumor. Sarcoma refers to a malignant tumor of mesenchymal tissue. Sacral sarcoma may manifest as a local mass. Pain and swelling in the sacrum and coccyx may be accompanied by local skin redness and swelling. Malignant tumors need to be further diagnosed by imaging examinations. Generally speaking, there is no good treatment, and it is mainly a comprehensive treatment such as surgery, adjuvant postoperative chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.

Osteosarcoma symptoms

Osteosarcoma is a soft tissue tumor. Generally speaking, the main symptoms that may occur are the formation of local masses, as well as these clinical symptoms and manifestations, such as tumors causing bone damage to the limbs, inability to walk, or impaired mobility. The main symptoms are severe local pain, and some are accompanied by rupture and bleeding. Generally speaking, osteosarcoma is a malignant tumor derived from mesenchymal tissue. It is very difficult to treat. In the past, the main surgical treatment method was amputation, but now the common treatment method for osteosarcoma is to preserve limb function. Because amputation cannot greatly improve the survival rate. Generally speaking, comprehensive treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy should be combined after surgery, but the overall treatment effect is not very good.
