Cerebral infarction is a common symptom among middle-aged and elderly people. In recent years, as young people's eating habits have become worse and their lifestyles have become more irregular, some young people have also begun to show symptoms of cerebral infarction. Cerebral infarction is a disease that poses a great threat to patients, so in the early stages of the disease, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis and treatment in time. So, what are the symptoms of a mild cerebral infarction? 1. Symptoms of mild cerebral infarction Mild cerebral infarction is a special type of cerebral infarction. It is caused by occlusion of tiny arteries deep in the brain on the basis of hypertension and arterial infarction, leading to ischemic softening of brain tissue. The lesion size is generally 2-20 mm, with 2-4 mm being the most common. Clinically, most patients have no obvious symptoms. About 3/4 of the patients have no symptoms of focal nerve damage, or only have mild symptoms such as inattention, memory loss, mild headache, dizziness, vertigo, and slow reaction. The diagnosis of this disease is mainly based on CT or MRI examination. If mild cerebral infarction becomes multiple, it can affect brain function, lead to progressive intellectual decline, and finally cause cerebrovascular dementia. 2. Precautions for mild cerebral infarction 1. Eating habits Eating too much high-sugar food can increase blood viscosity; eating too salty a diet can cause blood clotting; lifestyle habits such as smoking, drinking too little water, and skipping breakfast can also increase blood viscosity and induce thrombosis. In daily life, you should ensure that you drink enough water, a glass of water before going to bed and a glass of water when you wake up. If necessary, add a cup at midnight. (1) Increase dietary fiber and vitamin C intake, including whole grains, vegetables and fruits. Some foods such as onions, garlic, mushrooms, fungus, kelp, hawthorn, seaweed, light tea, konjac, etc. have lipid-lowering effects. (2) It is advisable to eat light, soft food rich in dietary fiber. Cooking methods such as steaming, stewing, simmering, stir-frying, blanching, sautéing, and warm mixing are recommended. Frying, deep-frying, stir-frying, drizzling with oil, and roasting are not suitable. 2. Exercise Physical exercises such as jogging, walking, soft gymnastics, and Tai Chi can increase the high-density lipoprotein in the blood, which plays an extremely important role in the prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis. Care should be taken to prevent accidents during physical exercise, such as falls, fractures, sprains, etc. The duration and intensity of exercise should be such that you do not feel tired. 3. Emotional stability Being too nervous can cause vascular spasms, a sudden rise in blood pressure, and blood thickening, which can affect the body's normal blood circulation and induce thrombosis or blood vessel rupture. Moreover, a healthy mentality is more conducive to the recovery of cerebral infarction. |
