Scalp numbness and hair loss

Scalp numbness and hair loss

Maybe everyone has had this experience: you feel fine, but your body suddenly turns white, and this numb feeling goes straight to the top of your head. Recently, it is often accompanied by hair loss. Therefore, scalp numbness and hair loss are connected together. Usually, scalp problems are mainly caused by frequent fatigue, emotional excitement, and lack of sleep, and hair loss is also related to these factors.

What causes scalp numbness?

1. When the body is too tired, it will not only lead to memory loss, but also make it difficult to concentrate, causing great trouble to work and life.

2. Emotional anxiety and irritability can also manifest as autonomic nervous system dysfunction, such as difficulty breathing, depression, tension headaches, etc.

3. Poor sleep. You feel sleepy during the day, but when it is late at night, you toss and turn and cannot fall asleep. This will directly affect blood circulation, and scalp numbness is just one of the symptoms.

4. In short, all of the above reasons will lead to varying degrees of neurasthenia. After the scalp numbness occurs, if you do not rest and receive treatment in time, the condition will continue to worsen.

5. In addition, being exposed to wind or having excessive internal heat in the body can also cause a similar feeling as scalp tingling.

Alopecia is the phenomenon of hair loss, which can be divided into physiological and pathological. Physiological hair loss refers to the normal loss of hair. Pathological hair loss refers to abnormal or excessive hair loss. With the increasing social pressure and the accelerated pace of life, the continuous deterioration of the environment, and the poor eating habits, our unhealthy and sub-healthy conditions are also increasing day by day, and the number of hair loss patients in China is increasing.

Patients with hair loss should drink more raw water or eat foods rich in iron. Lean meat, egg whites, spinach, cabbage, celery, fruits, etc. are the best therapeutic foods. People with hair loss or baldness have hardened scalp. The above-mentioned foods can help soften the scalp.

Symptoms and signs

The main symptoms of hair loss are greasy hair, as if rubbed with oil, burnt and fluffy hair, lack of luster, yellowish scales that are difficult to fall off, or grayish white scales flying around, and itching. If it is male hair loss, it is mainly on the front and top of the head. The hairline on the forehead and the temples move upward, the hair on the front and top of the head becomes sparse, yellow, and soft, and eventually the top of the forehead becomes bald or has some hair; female hair loss is on the top of the head, the hair becomes sparse, but it will not fall off completely in pieces.

First of all, we need to distinguish the types of hair loss. Generally, hair loss can be divided into two basic types: permanent hair loss caused by damaged hair follicles, and temporary hair loss caused by short-term damage to hair follicles. Permanent hair loss is the common male baldness. In some European countries, the male baldness rate is as high as 40%.

The hair loss process of permanent hair loss (also known as male pattern baldness) occurs gradually. At the beginning, the hair edge on the forehead shrinks significantly and the hair on the top of the head is sparse. Then it gradually develops and finally develops to only a circle of sparse hair on the back and sides of the head. There are three main reasons for this: genetic factors, lack or imbalance of male hormones in the blood circulation; being too fat. In addition, scars left by various skin diseases or skin injuries, congenital hair stunting, and severe damage to hair follicles caused by chemicals or physical reasons can all cause permanent hair loss.
