Can female bladder cancer be cured?

Bladder cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs on the bladder mucosa and is a common malignant tumor of the urinary system. The pathological types of bladder cancer include bladder urothelial carcinoma, bladder adenocarcinoma, bladder squamous cell carcinoma, and other rare bladder small cell carcinoma, bladder clear cell carcinoma and bladder cancer. Bladder cancer is often called bladder urothelial carcinoma, formerly known as bladder transitional cell carcinoma.

The etiology of bladder cancer is complex, with both intrinsic genetic factors and extrinsic environmental factors. Two obvious risk factors are smoking and professional exposure to aromatic amine chemicals. Smoking is currently the most certain risk factor for bladder cancer. 30% to 50% of bladder cancers are caused by smoking. Smoking increases the risk of bladder cancer by 2% to 6 times. As the smoking time increases, the incidence of bladder cancer also increases significantly. Another important risk factor is a series of occupations or occupational exposures related to bladder cancer, such as aluminum products, coal tar, asphalt, dyes, rubber, and coal gasification.

The early symptoms of female bladder cancer are painless and intermittent, with only visible hematuria, which is usually bright red and sometimes can be seen under a microscope. A few people may experience loss of appetite, nausea, general fatigue, fever, pain in the lower abdomen and perineum and anus, frequent urination, difficulty urinating, lower abdominal mass, etc. In severe cases, acute urinary retention may occur. When cancer widely metastasizes to the pelvic cavity, abdominal mass, lumbar or perineal pain, lower extremity edema and anemia may occur.
