Early symptoms and causes of childhood lymphoma

Early symptoms and causes of childhood lymphoma:

1. Lymphoma refers to malignant lymphoma. Children with malignant lymphoma may have symptoms such as high fever, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, etc., which are mainly caused by genetics, viral infection, radioactive radiation and other reasons.

2. The symptoms of malignant lymphoma in children are similar to those in adults, but more diverse. Because the necrotic products in tumor metabolism may stimulate the body's temperature regulation center, causing fever, the body temperature is generally above 39°C. The tumor may compress the surrounding tissues in the early stages of the disease, which then leads to obstruction of lymph node return and causes lymph node enlargement. Malignant lymphoma is a wasting disease, and children may consume a lot of calories, nutrition, fatigue, weight loss and other symptoms.

3. Lymphoma can occur at any age and can be seen in a variety of diseases, both benign and malignant. The specific causes of malignant lymphoma are diverse and usually clustered in families. For example, if a parent has malignant lymphoma, the child's chance of getting the disease will be relatively increased due to genetic inheritance. Epstein-Barr virus infection may cause monocytosis. If not treated in time, it may cause the inactivation of tumor suppressor genes in certain cells of the human body, and the incidence rate will also increase. Frequent exposure to radiation in daily life may lead to hyperplasia of lymphoid tissue, thereby inducing the disease.

4. Suspected symptoms should be treated promptly. Early detection and early treatment have better efficacy and prognosis. No recurrence for more than 5 to 10 years after treatment proves that clinical cure has been achieved.
