Where are the abdominal lymph nodes?

There are many lymph nodes in our abdominal cavity. Many people will suffer from abdominal lymphadenitis, especially children. The probability of suffering from this disease is very high, and children will experience abdominal pain after the disease. Generally, this disease is caused by unhygienic diet, because most children cannot control their mouths and are prone to overeating. So where are the abdominal lymph nodes?

Abdominal lymph nodes can be located anywhere in the abdominal cavity, and the most common cause is abdominal mesenteric lymphadenitis. This is also one of the most common causes of abdominal pain in children. In this case, you should first pay attention to dietary regularity and hygiene, keep your abdomen warm, avoid overeating, and avoid eating spicy and other irritating foods.

The abdominal lymph nodes are located in many places. In this case, because lymph nodes can appear in the abdominal cavity, if inflammation occurs, there is a high probability of pain in the entire abdomen.

There are about 600 to 700 lymph nodes in the human body, and clinically only various superficial lymph nodes of the body can be examined. The superficial lymph nodes of healthy people are very small, with a diameter of no more than 1 cm. They are soft in texture, smooth in surface, difficult to touch, and have no tenderness and adhesion to adjacent tissues.

Superficial lymph nodes are distributed in groups, and each group of lymph nodes receives lymph fluid from a certain area. For example, the lymph nodes in the ear and mastoid area receive lymph from the scalp; the submandibular lymph nodes receive lymph from the floor of the mouth, buccal mucosa, gums, etc.; the submental lymph nodes collect lymph from the tissues in the submental triangle, lips and tongue. The deep cervical lymph nodes collect lymph from the nasopharynx, larynx, trachea, thyroid gland, etc.; the right supraclavicular lymph nodes receive lymph from the trachea, pleura, lungs, etc.; the left supraclavicular lymph nodes receive lymph from the esophagus, gastrointestinal tract and other organs. The lymph fluid from the upper trunk, breast, chest wall, etc. flows back to the axillary lymph nodes; the lymph fluid from the lower limbs and perineum flows back to the inguinal lymph nodes. When inflammation or cancer occurs in a part of the body, microorganisms or cancer cells can spread along the lymphatic vessels to reach the lymph nodes of that organ or part, causing swollen and tender lymph nodes, which is of great significance for the diagnosis of the disease.

Lymph node enlargement is very common and can occur in people of any age. It can be seen in a variety of diseases, both benign and malignant. Therefore, it is very important to pay attention to the cause of lymph node enlargement and seek medical treatment and diagnosis in time to avoid misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis.
