My hair still itches after washing

People think that an itchy scalp is a very troublesome thing, because an itchy scalp will make people unable to help scratching, and the more they scratch, the more itchy it becomes, and they may even scratch their scalp. The occurrence of this situation is related to people's physical health, especially the symptoms of itchy scalp still appear after washing the hair. Let's take a look at why the scalp is still itchy after washing the hair? Let’s take a look at the explanation below.

First, the problem of shampoo quality. When it comes to choosing shampoo, you must be careful and make sure to choose one with guaranteed quality. It's no secret that low-quality shampoo can easily lead to bacterial growth and itchy scalp attacks, but it's also the least likely cause of your itch.

Second, the conditioner is used improperly. Normal conditioner is for the hair, not the scalp. Some girls think that hair care should start from the roots, so they take it for granted that conditioner should be applied to the scalp and massaged from the roots to the ends of the hair. The problem is that the conditioner contains some highly adhesive membrane-like substances that will enhance the strength and gloss of the hair, but if applied to the scalp, it will block the sweat glands and accelerate oil secretion, which will naturally breed bacteria and cause itching.

Third, it may be a fungal infection. Use a special anti-fungal medicated shampoo to wash your hair and relieve itching and kill fungi by removing tinea capitis and dandruff.

A healthy scalp should look like this: the pores are clean and hole-shaped, transparent and smooth and translucent, with the texture of the skin, and appear bluish-white under the lens of the scalp tester. Hair is smooth, non-frizzy and opaque.

The stratum corneum is thickened and sebum accumulates, blocking the pores. People with this type of scalp will easily have itchy heads, dandruff that is difficult to wash off, and their hair will be relatively dry, limp and shapeless.

Commonly used drugs for general treatment include: oral medications, vitamin B12, vitamin B2, niacin, vitamin B complex and vitamin B6. The external Chinese medicine, Yizhining, can be used in combination with VB2 and white chrysanthemum to improve the efficacy.
