Can liver cancer be detected by B-ultrasound?

1. B-ultrasound can generally be used to examine liver cancer and make a preliminary judgment, but other tests are also needed to confirm the diagnosis, such as liver function, liver tumor markers, CT, MRI, etc., to avoid misdiagnosis.

2. Liver cancer generally refers to malignant tumors from hepatocytes and intrahepatic bile duct epithelial cells. The cause is still unclear, it may be related to genetic factors, or it may be caused by long-term smoking and drinking. Early patients may not have obvious clinical symptoms, most of which are discovered accidentally during physical examinations. As the condition worsens, the disease will gradually enter the middle and late stages. At this time, if the patient undergoes a B-ultrasound examination, it can clearly show whether the liver has cancer and whether there is an obvious mass, which is of great clinical significance for the diagnosis of liver cancer. However, B-ultrasound can only preliminarily determine whether you have liver cancer. Patients also need to undergo CT examinations, MRI examinations, pathological examinations, etc. for diagnosis.

3. Patients with early-stage liver cancer can be treated surgically. Common surgical methods include liver cancer ablation, liver cancer radical cure, liver transplantation, etc. Patients with advanced stage cancer who have cancer cells spread can be treated with chemotherapy. Common chemotherapy drugs include paclitaxel injection, cisplatin injection, carboplatin injection, etc. While cooperating with the doctor's treatment, patients should also pay attention to maintaining a good mood and avoiding excessive mental stress.
