Urgent! ! I have eye pain after radiotherapy and chemotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Is it a recurrence?

Although nasopharyngeal carcinoma invades the orbit or nerves related to the eyeball, it is in the late stage, but common recommendations include visual impairment, visual defects, and diplopia: after giving appropriate nasopharyngeal examinations and a clear diagnosis, appropriate radiotherapy and comprehensive treatment are given, and the symptoms of some patients are alleviated as the tumor is controlled.

If you find yourself suffering from nasopharyngeal cancer, you should go to the hospital for detailed examination and treatment in time. Generally speaking, rhinitis can still cause eye pain because the human nasal cavity and tear duct are connected. Magnetic resonance imaging is abnormal. The main means of treating malignant tumors is surgical removal of tumor lesions.

Can blood tests be done for nasopharyngeal cancer?

Blood tests cannot detect nasopharyngeal carcinoma. The diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma must be confirmed through imaging examinations, such as nasopharyngeal magnetic resonance imaging combined with nasopharyngeal endoscopic biopsy. After the diagnosis is confirmed, anti-tumor treatment plans such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy can be used. Nasopharyngeal carcinoma cannot be detected by blood tests. Routine blood tests can only detect abnormalities in the patient's blood routine, but cannot clearly diagnose it as nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells.

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma is a malignant tumor of the nasopharynx. It is mainly diagnosed through electronic nasopharyngoscopy or nasopharyngeal magnetic resonance imaging to identify nasopharyngeal tumors, followed by a biopsy of the nasopharyngeal neoplasm for pathological diagnosis.
