How to detect bladder cancer early

How to detect bladder cancer early

Bladder cancer refers to a malignant tumor that occurs in the human bladder. It is one of the common malignant tumors in the urinary system. The main symptom of bladder cancer is hematuria, which is mainly caused by the rupture and bleeding of the tumor. The hematuria is sometimes more and sometimes less. When it is more, it can be seen by the naked eye, and when it is less, it can only be seen under a microscope. The hematuria caused by bladder cancer can usually be seen by the naked eye.

Early detection of bladder cancer

1. Painlessness. Even when hematuria occurs, the patient does not feel any pain or discomfort. This is the so-called painless hematuria. This is different from hematuria caused by stones which is accompanied by pain, and it is also different from hematuria caused by bladder inflammation which is often accompanied by urgency and pain when urinating. However, if the tumor is necrotic or infected, frequent urination, urgency or pain when urinating may occur.

2 Intermittent means that hematuria occurs intermittently, sometimes stopping on its own or getting better. The interval between two episodes of hematuria is sometimes a few days, sometimes several months, or even up to half a year. This can easily give patients the false impression that hematuria has been cured, and thus patients fail to receive timely examination and treatment.

Painless hematuria is the main symptom of bladder cancer. Almost all bladder cancers will first present with painless hematuria. So if this phenomenon occurs, check it out as soon as possible to achieve early detection and early treatment. If hematuria only occurs once or twice and the patient does not pay attention to it, he may think it is caused by fatigue or that it has healed on its own, which often delays treatment.

Bladder cancer is a common malignant tumor, mainly refers to the disease that occurs on the bladder mucosa of human body. The causes of bladder cancer are very complicated, such as genetic factors and external factors, among which smoking and occupational factors are risk factors for bladder cancer. Therefore, you should pay attention to it in normal times, especially when painless hematuria occurs, you should pay attention to it, go to the hospital for examination in time, make a timely diagnosis, and treat it early.
