What is bladder cancer

What is bladder cancer? Bladder cancer is a tumor that grows in the bladder of the urinary system. This tumor is what people call a malignant tumor, and its incidence rate in the population is still relatively high. Patients who are often exposed to daily dyes, paints, rubber, detergents, or plastic products are particularly prone to bladder cancer.

Patients with bladder cancer may have symptoms of frequent urination and urgency in the early stages. At first, they may just think it is a urinary tract infection. Later, they may develop symptoms of painful urination and hematuria, and occasionally intermittent lower abdominal pain. These symptoms are all thought to be urinary tract infection and are treated as inflammation with anti-inflammatory measures.

Blood in the urine is the first manifestation of bladder cancer. However, when blood in the urine first appears, it is invisible to the human eye. It can only be seen under a microscope. This is called microscopic hematuria. It is the earliest symptom of bladder cancer, but it is difficult to detect. Therefore, when you find bladder cancer, it is mostly discovered in the late stage. Some patients may also have symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, pain, and difficulty urinating in addition to hematuria. Among them, the symptom of difficulty urinating usually occurs in patients with larger or more bladder cancer tumors.

Some patients will experience difficulty urinating and obvious discomfort in the lower abdomen after contracting bladder cancer. Severe bladder cancer may cause patients to have difficulty urinating and may also lead to hydronephrosis. Bladder cancer is very harmful to the body, so active treatment is required after the onset of the disease. It is recommended that patients with bladder cancer should pay attention to eating more vegetables rich in vitamins and less greasy and spicy foods in their daily lives. Patients should also reduce environmental and occupational exposure.

It is recommended that patients with bladder cancer should pay attention to care and rest in their daily lives, avoid staying up late, and avoid going to crowded places where the air is not adequate and it is stuffy and the air is poor, which makes it easy for cross infection. They should pay attention to hygiene, scrub regularly, change clothes regularly, and keep clean.
