What is the difference between the bivalent, quadrivalent and nonavalent uterine cancer vaccines?

Uterine cancer vaccine should refer to cervical cancer vaccine, that is, the vaccine for preventing cervical cancer, which is also called HPV vaccine in clinical practice. HPV bivalent, HPV quadrivalent, and HPV nine-valent vaccines prevent different HPV types, are suitable for different age ranges, and have different protective effects. 1. Prevention of different HPV types: HPV bivalent vaccine generally prevents HPV infection of types 16 and 18; HPV quadrivalent vaccine prevents HPV infection of types 6, 11, 16, and 18; HPV nine-valent vaccine is used to prevent HPV infection of types 6, 11, 16, 18, 31, 33, 45, 52, and 58.

2. Suitable for different age ranges: HPV bivalent vaccine is suitable for women aged 9 to 45 years old; HPV quadrivalent vaccine is suitable for women aged 20 to 45 years old; HPV 9-valent vaccine is suitable for women aged 16 to 26 years old.

3. Different protective effects: HPV bivalent vaccine can prevent more than 70% of cervical cancer; HPV bivalent vaccine can prevent more than 70% of cervical cancer and 90% of genital warts; HPV 9-valent vaccine can prevent more than 90% of cervical cancer and genital warts.
