What is going on with female cervical cancer? What to do

Cervical cancer is one of the more common gynecological malignancies, mainly caused by human papillomavirus infection of the uterus. In the early stages of the disease, patients may not have obvious clinical symptoms, but in the late stages of the disease, they may experience vaginal bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge, and other symptoms. At this time, surgical treatment, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, etc. are required according to the severity of the patient's condition.

1. Causes

If a woman is infected with high-risk HPV virus, especially type 16 and type 18, the risk of cervical cancer will increase. Because these two types of HPV virus are the main causes of cervical cancer, and they are contagious and can be transmitted through sexual intercourse, so you should pay attention to avoid unclean sexual intercourse.

II. Treatment

1. Surgical treatment: For patients with cervical cancer, surgery is the main treatment method, such as total hysterectomy, modified radical hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node dissection, which can completely remove the lesion tissue from the body and achieve the purpose of cure.

2. Radiotherapy: If the patient is in the middle or late stage and surgery cannot completely cure the disease, radiotherapy can be used as an auxiliary treatment. Commonly used radiation includes electron beam irradiation, X-ray irradiation, etc., which can effectively control the progression of the disease.

3. Chemotherapy: Some patients who cannot tolerate radiotherapy can also use cisplatin injection, carboplatin injection and other drugs for chemotherapy as prescribed by the doctor, but it is only suitable for patients with more serious conditions.

4. Other methods: In addition to the common methods mentioned above, you can also choose immunotherapy, targeted drug therapy and other methods to improve the condition. You need to cooperate with the doctor to choose appropriate treatment measures.

3. Notes

In daily life, you should maintain good living habits, pay attention to personal hygiene, change underwear frequently, and actively cooperate with doctors for follow-up treatment and regular check-ups. You should also make appropriate adjustments to your diet, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid eating spicy and irritating foods.
