How to read the level of thyroid cancer list

Thyroid cancer list generally refers to the pathological examination results of thyroid cancer, which are usually graded according to indicators such as tumor size and depth of invasion. Thyroid cancer is a common malignant tumor, which is mainly treated by surgery, and radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endocrine therapy, etc. are also needed after surgery.

1. Tumor size: If the tumor diameter is less than 1 cm, it is TI-RADS-1; if the tumor diameter is between 1 and 2 cm, it is TI-RADS-2; if the tumor diameter is greater than 2 cm, it is TI-RADS-3;

2. Depth of invasion: If the depth of invasion is ≤0.5 mm, it is TI-RADS-1; if the depth of invasion is between 0.6 and 1 mm, it is TI-RADS-2; if the depth of invasion is greater than 1 mm, it is TI-RADS-3;

3. Capsular invasion: If no capsular invasion is found, it is TI-RADS-1; if capsular invasion is found, it is TI-RADS-2; if invasive growth is present, it is TI-RADS-3;

4. Whether there is lymph node metastasis: If no lymph node metastasis is found, it is TI-RADS-1; if only one lymph node metastasis is found and the size is less than 1 cm, it is TI-RADS-2; if two or more lymph nodes are metastatic and the size is less than 1 cm, it is TI-RADS-3; if two or more lymph nodes are metastatic and the maximum diameter is greater than 1 cm, it is TI-RADS-4.

In addition to the above situations, it is also necessary to observe whether there is distant metastasis. If the patient is diagnosed with thyroid cancer, he or she needs to follow the doctor's advice for treatment in a timely manner, such as surgical removal of the lesion, and combined with adjuvant treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy.
