3. Whether metastasis has occurred: If thyroid cancer has not metastasized to distant organs, it is relatively safe and the patient can achieve clinical cure after active treatment. However, if distant organ metastasis has occurred, it is considered advanced cancer and the treatment effect is poor at this time, and the patient's survival time will be significantly shortened.

Thyroid cancer is also related to factors such as gender and age. Generally speaking, women are more likely to develop thyroid cancer than men, and the risk of thyroid cancer increases with age.
