What causes excessive lung fire

What causes excessive lung fire

Excessive lung fire is very common in daily life. It will have a direct impact on people's lives. There are many reasons for excessive lung fire, including diet, colds, etc., which need to be given enough attention, otherwise it will cause a series of symptoms and will be more difficult to treat. We must seize the right treatment opportunity and recover health as soon as possible. At the same time, you can eat more fruits such as pears, monk fruit and loquat.

1. Cause Analysis

Lung excess heat syndrome is mostly caused by exposure to external pathogens. For example, wind, cold, heat, dampness and dryness among the six evils can all transform into fire (that is, the five elements transform into fire). It can also be because the body has strong yang energy, and the emotional factors such as joy, anger, thinking, worry and fear can transform into fire under certain conditions (that is, the five emotions transform into fire). The heat of fire causes the evil heat to accumulate in the lungs, and the lungs lose their ability to clear and purify themselves, resulting in the syndrome of lung meridian excess heat. Lung Yin deficiency syndrome is mostly caused by long-term cough that damages the lungs and the lung Yin; or due to exogenous febrile disease that damages the lung fluid; or other strains that lead to insufficient lung Yin and failure to clear and purify, resulting in symptoms of lung failure to clear and purify and internal heat due to Yin deficiency.

2. Foods to remove lung heat:

1. Pear

Pears are cool in nature, sweet in taste, can clear away heat and resolve phlegm, and are suitable for people with hot coughs. People usually peel the pears, take out the cores, add 1 to 3 grams of Fritillaria cirrhosa powder, and stew them in water, twice a day, one pear each time. Or you can choose the method of the late famous doctor Pu Fuzhou, use 3-5 grams of the Chinese medicine ephedra, mash or pound it, then put it into the heart of the pear and steam it for consumption.

2. Monk Fruit

Luo Han Guo has the effect of clearing the lungs and relieving throat, and is suitable for pharyngitis and sore throat caused by lung heat. You can drink monk fruit tea for pharyngitis and aphonia. Use 2 monk fruits, peel them and cut them into thin slices. Boil them in boiling water for 1 minute and drink. When there is a foreign body sensation in the throat, you can make Luo Han Guo and Snow Pear Soup.

3. Loquat

Loquat is cool in nature, sweet in taste, and can moisten the lungs, reduce phlegm and relieve cough. "Compendium of Materia Medica in Southern Yunnan" says: "Loquat can cure cough and spitting." It is suitable for people with hot cough and spitting yellow purulent sputum.

4. Persimmon

Eating fresh persimmons raw can improve cough with excessive sputum, and coughing up blood due to deficiency. Red and soft ripe persimmons can treat fever, thirst, dry mouth and chapped lips, and irritability. Persimmons have the effects of moistening the lungs and relieving coughs, clearing away heat and promoting salivation, and resolving phlegm and softening hard masses, making them suitable for consumption in winter.

5. Sugarcane

Sugarcane is sweet, mild and non-toxic. It can help the spleen, benefit the large intestine, eliminate phlegm and quench thirst, and relieve chest heat. It has the effects of nourishing yin and moistening dryness, harmonizing the stomach and stopping vomiting, clearing away heat and detoxifying. For symptoms such as dry mouth, cough with phlegm, and constipation caused by insufficient yin fluid, eating more sugarcane can improve the symptoms.

6. Tremella

Tremella fuciformis has the effects of moistening the lungs and resolving phlegm, nourishing yin and promoting fluid production. It can treat symptoms such as yin deficiency and lung dryness, dry throat and thirst. It can be cooked or stewed, for example, made into a soup with lily or cherry and rock sugar.

7. Fritillaria cirrhosa

Fritillaria cirrhosa contains a variety of alkaloids, sterols and starch. It is sweet, bitter and slightly cold in nature. It can clear away heat, moisten the lungs and resolve phlegm. It has good effects on many types of coughs and is an important medicine for resolving phlegm and relieving cough. Therefore, Chuanbei is included in many traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions or Chinese patent medicine preparations for the treatment of acute tracheitis, bronchitis, tuberculosis and other diseases, such as Snake Gall Chuanbei Dew, Chuanbei Loquat Dew, etc., which will enhance the effect of treating the disease.
