What medicine should I take to relieve the malignancy of lung cancer

Patients with malignant lung cancer can use chemotherapy drugs, targeted drugs, etc. for treatment according to the doctor's advice. It is recommended that patients take medication under the guidance of a doctor to avoid adverse reactions.

1. Chemotherapy drugs

1. Gefitinib tablets: Gefitinib tablets are a kind of anti-tumor Western medicine preparation, which is an epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor. It kills cancer cells mainly by blocking the intracellular signal transduction pathway. It is mainly used in clinical practice to treat diseases such as lung adenocarcinoma and metastatic colorectal cancer.

2. Erlotinib Hydrochloride Tablets: Erlotinib Hydrochloride Tablets are also an anti-tumor Western medicine preparation, which mainly kills cancer cells by interfering with the signal transduction pathway within the cells. It is mainly used in clinical practice to treat diseases such as advanced non-small cell lung cancer.

2. Targeted Drugs

1. Osimertinib mesylate tablets: Osimertinib mesylate tablets are a Western anti-tumor medicine that can inhibit the activation of EGFR mutants and downstream signal transduction pathways, thereby preventing tumor cell proliferation and promoting their apoptosis. It is suitable for the treatment of adult patients with locally advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer who have experienced disease progression during or after EGFR TKI treatment and have been confirmed to have EGFR T790M mutation-positive results.

2. Afatinib maleate tablets: Afatinib maleate tablets are the second-generation irreversible EGFR-TKIs inhibitor, which can inhibit the activity of the enzyme by binding to the aminotransferase at the tyrosine residue 56 of the EGFR, thereby reducing the phosphorylated EGFR in the cell and exerting an anti-tumor effect.

In addition, drugs such as carboplatin injection and bevacizumab injection can also be used to treat patients with malignant lung cancer. If the patient is in poor physical condition and cannot tolerate the above treatment measures, palliative surgery or radiotherapy is needed to prolong survival.
