How to detect asymptomatic early lung cancer? Three high-risk groups need to be checked for lung cancer

The cure rate of lung cancer patients is very low, because lung cancer is still a difficult cancer to cure, and the early symptoms are not obvious. Late detection of the disease leads to a very high mortality rate. The countermeasures to cure lung cancer should be early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment, among which early detection is the most important. As long as high-risk groups take the initiative to take regular cancer prevention examinations, asymptomatic early lung cancer can be detected early, greatly improving the cure rate of lung cancer.

According to the international lung cancer staging regulations, early lung cancer belongs to the first stage of cancer, with a high mortality rate and difficulty in early detection. Lung cancer is divided into central and peripheral types according to the different growth locations of the cancer. In life, some early lung cancers lack or even have no clinical symptoms, which leads to late detection of the disease, rapid course of the disease, and low cure rate. So how should we detect asymptomatic early lung cancer?

Studies have found that most asymptomatic early lung cancers are peripheral lung cancers. This type of cancer mass is very small in diameter and causes very little irritation to the small bronchial mucosa in the early stages of growth. There are few or even no extrapulmonary symptoms such as coughing and coughing up blood, so it is difficult for patients to detect it, reducing the probability of active medical treatment. When the cancer is growing rapidly or metastasized to the second or third stage of lung cancer, it is extremely difficult to treat and the prognosis is poor.

In addition, some common clinical symptoms of early lung cancer include cough, hemoptysis, fever and chest pain, but many patients do not pay attention to them, which is one of the important reasons for the lack of early detection. If you can be alert to these clues in your body and seek medical treatment in time, you can find some patients with early lung cancer. For the detection and prevention of asymptomatic early lung cancer, you can start by raising patients' awareness of prevention and paying attention to regular cancer prevention examinations.

High-risk groups should take the initiative to have regular lung examinations, and the regularity is generally six months. Surveys and studies have confirmed that if high-risk groups have a comprehensive examination once a year on average, fewer early-stage lung cancer patients will be found, while more patients in the middle and late stages will be found. Regular cancer prevention examinations should focus on the following three high-risk groups: men over 45 years old with a long history of smoking, people who have long-term exposure to carcinogens, and the elderly aged 60 to 80. These people should learn more about tumors and have a certain awareness of cancer prevention.

Tumor cells have immune escape mechanisms, so it is difficult to detect early symptoms of patients. For the examination of early lung cancer, chest X-rays have certain limitations, so many patients fail to detect lung cancer symptoms in time even with regular chest X-rays. To observe the condition of the lungs more clearly, it is necessary to improve low-dose lung CT. Paying great attention to the extrapulmonary manifestations of lung cancer and regular physical examinations will help to detect and diagnose early lung cancer.
