The difference between instant and freshly ground coffee

Coffee is a drink that many people like to drink. It has a good effect of refreshing the mind, can also play a certain effect in relieving fatigue, and has a certain effect on regulating the body. There are many types of coffee. From the perspective of its brewing, it is mainly divided into instant and freshly ground coffee. The difference between them is relatively large. Of course, freshly ground coffee is better. Let's take a look at their differences.

The difference between instant and ground coffee

1. May contain trans fats

The non-dairy creamer in "three-in-one" coffee may contain trans fats. Please pay attention to the nutrition label and choose instant coffee that does not contain trans fats.

2. Contains a lot of sugar

Almost 80% of a bag (15 g) of instant coffee is sugar.

The daily limit of added sugar for adults is about 50 g. If you drink 2 small bags of instant coffee, half of that amount is gone.

3. Not as good as freshly ground coffee

The advantage of freshly ground coffee is that it is fresh. The coffee beans are brewed immediately after being ground and then enjoyed by people, which retains the aroma of the coffee to the greatest extent.

Instant coffee is made by evaporating the water in the coffee extract, leaving behind the dry coffee extract, which is coffee powder.

Since the aromatic substances in coffee are easily volatilized by heat, the taste and aroma of instant coffee are greatly reduced after going through a lot of trouble.

The main disadvantage of instant coffee is the saturated fat it contains, and the disadvantage of three-in-one coffee is also sugar. Of course, if you really like it, 1-2 cups a day will not pose a direct risk to your health. If you drink coffee every day, it is recommended to drink coffee without non-dairy creamer and flavors.
