Why do women get cervical cancer? What are the common causes of cervical cancer?

The occurrence of cervical cancer is related to the following:

1. Relationship with spouse Some people believe that the risk of cervical cancer is relatively high if the husband has phimosis or prepuce. If the husband has penile cancer or prostate cancer or the ex-wife has cervical cancer, or if the man has multiple sexual partners, the wife is more likely to have cervical cancer.

2. The relationship between sex life and marriage The incidence of cervical cancer in women who have sex too early (before the age of 18) is 4 times that of those who have sex after the age of 18. If women start their sexual life early and have sexually transmitted diseases such as syphilis and gonorrhea, the incidence of cervical cancer is 6 times that of normal women. It has been confirmed that if women have sex with multiple men, they have a greater chance of developing cervical cancer, while virgins rarely develop cervical cancer.

Unmarried and nulliparous women have little chance of contracting cervical cancer, and the incidence of multiple marriages is also high. Multiple births and poor perinatal maintenance and delivery processes can also increase the incidence of cervical cancer. However, multiple births do not increase the incidence of cervical cancer.

3. Cervical erosion, laceration and eversion Due to the physiology and anatomy of the cervix, it is easily stimulated by various physical, chemical and biological factors such as trauma, hormones and viruses.

4. Viral or fungal infection Herpes simplex virus type II, human papillomavirus, human cytomegalovirus and fungal infection may be related to the occurrence of cervical cancer. However, which virus mainly induces or under which virus coordination is prone to cervical cancer has not been resolved.
