What should you pay attention to in your diet after liver cancer interventional treatment? Three points to pay attention to in your diet after liver cancer interventional treatment

Compared with general open surgery, interventional therapy is a means of treating liver cancer, with less damage and better results. However, what should be paid attention to in diet after interventional therapy for liver cancer? What to eat to facilitate recovery? This has become a topic of general concern.

The following points should be noted in the diet after interventional treatment of liver cancer:

1. Food should be easily digestible. In the late stage of liver cancer, special attention should be paid to providing easily digestible food. The food must include a certain amount of staple food, such as wheat flour, corn, sweet potato, millet, etc.; vegetables and fruits, such as tomatoes, rapeseed, lettuce, cauliflower, kiwi, orange, strawberry, etc.; meat, soy products, as well as milk and dairy products.

2. Eat more fresh fruits. Patients with advanced liver cancer should choose fruits that strengthen the spleen and stomach, such as hawthorn, tangerine, lemon, orange, monk fruit, pitaya, jujube, banana, etc., and eat them selectively according to their own conditions. However, the fruits must be fresh, ripe, and eaten in moderation. Fruits that have been stored for too long will produce toxic substances, which will damage the liver and aggravate the condition.

3. Reduce fat intake. Liver cancer patients have difficulty digesting and absorbing fat. Therefore, especially in the late stage of liver cancer, it is not advisable to eat too much fat in the diet. Fatty meat, fried food, dried fruits, sausages and other foods should be avoided. A low-fat diet can not only alleviate the digestive tract symptoms of liver cancer patients, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal distension, etc., but also less fat in the diet can also reduce the degree of pain in the liver area to a certain extent.
