Liver cancer is a common malignant tumor disease. The early stage is the best time to treat liver cancer, so timely detection and treatment of liver cancer is beneficial to the treatment of the disease. Every disease has its symptoms. Although some diseases have no obvious early symptoms, they are not discovered until the late stage, delaying the best time for treatment. Therefore, understanding the early symptoms of the disease can seize the best time for disease treatment and increase the chance of cure. The following introduces the early symptoms of liver cancer: 1. Pain in the liver area. Most patients with early liver cancer have pain in the liver area as the first symptom. The pain in the liver area is generally located in the right rib or under the xiphoid process. The pain is intermittent or persistent. The main cause of the pain is tumor enlargement, compression of the liver capsule, causing pulling pain, and it can also be caused by necrotic products of the tumor irritating the liver capsule. 2. Hepatomegaly. Progressive hepatomegaly is one of the most common characteristic signs of liver cancer. The liver is hard, with irregular surface and edges, often nodular. A few tumors are deeply buried in the liver parenchyma, and the liver surface is smooth, with or without obvious tenderness. 3. Splenomegaly. It is more common in patients with liver cancer combined with cirrhosis and portal hypertension. Tumor thrombus in the portal vein or splenic vein or liver cancer compressing the portal vein or splenic vein can also cause congestive splenomegaly. 4. Ascites. It is mostly caused by liver cancer combined with cirrhosis, portal hypertension, portal vein or hepatic vein tumor thrombus. 5. Jaundice. When the tumor infiltrates extensively, it can cause hepatocellular jaundice. When the intrahepatic bile duct is invaded or the portal lymph nodes compress the bile duct, obstructive jaundice may occur. Sometimes necrotic tumor tissue and blood clots fall into the bile duct, causing bile duct obstruction, which can cause obstructive jaundice.6. Anorexia, abdominal distension, and fatigue are secondary symptoms of liver cancer. If you have chronic liver disease or cirrhosis and are over 40 years old and suddenly experience the above symptoms, you should immediately undergo further examination. |
