What are the nursing methods for lung cancer patients? 6 methods are recommended for nursing lung cancer patients

Lung cancer is not very common in today's society, but in order to take good care of patients with lung cancer, we need to know the patient's clinical manifestations and then give the patient certain care. For this reason, experts have summarized the clinical manifestations of lung cancer patients and then given the principles of disease treatment for patients. The main contents are summarized as follows.

1. Nursing of patients with hemoptysis: Once signs of hemoptysis are found, be prepared for rescue immediately; when there is a large amount of hemoptysis, use a suction device to suck out the blood or place the patient in a head-down, foot-up position to draw out the blood in the mouth and respiratory tract to prevent suffocation; give hemostatic drugs and sedatives as prescribed by the doctor; strengthen psychological support to reduce the patient's tension and fear.

2. Oral care: Educate patients on oral hygiene; promptly treat chronic oral infections and ulcers; and perform oral care promptly after hemoptysis or postural drainage.

3. Patients with pulmonary tuberculosis should receive routine care for tuberculosis.

4. Improve nutrition and guide patients to eat high-protein, high-calorie, high-vitamin, easily digestible food; if necessary, perform intravenous nutrition, blood transfusion, albumin transfusion, etc.

5. Psychological care and preoperative guidance, such as explaining the significance of surgical treatment, possible catheters and precautions after surgery, methods of deep breathing and effective coughing, the importance of early mobilization, etc.

6. Assist with pre-operative preparations.

What kind of care and treatment we should provide to patients with lung cancer is based on the patient's specific condition. However, if patients with lung cancer want further treatment, they need to constantly understand the development of the disease so that they can effectively care for patients with lung cancer and give them active treatment.
