What are the dangers of liver cancer? These liver cancer hazards must be paid attention to

Nowadays, people pay more and more attention to their own health problems, but many people do not know much about their own condition. As a patient, it is necessary to understand your own condition. Increasing the understanding of the condition will help the recovery of the condition and allow patients to stay away from the troubles of the disease as soon as possible. So what problems do liver cancer patients need to pay attention to? What are the hazards of liver cancer?

The dangers of liver cancer

Liver cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in my country and the second most common cancer killer in my country. It is common in middle-aged men. Due to its high malignancy and rapid progression, patients generally do not feel any discomfort in the early stages. Once symptoms appear and they seek medical treatment, it is often in the middle or late stages. Therefore, it is difficult to treat and has poor efficacy. Generally, the survival time after onset is only 6 months. It is known as the "king of cancers."

In my country, 110,000 people die of liver cancer every year, including 80,000 men and 30,000 women, accounting for 45% of the world's liver cancer deaths. As the most common malignant tumor, liver cancer has a mortality rate second only to stomach cancer, with at least 120,000 people dying of liver cancer every year in China. Liver cancer deaths in China account for 44% of the world's total liver cancer deaths.

Incidence rate: The incidence rate of high-risk subjects is 11 times higher than that of ordinary people. A six-year follow-up survey of 18,816 high-risk liver cancer people in Shanghai (those aged 35 to 59 with a history of chronic hepatitis or positive hepatitis B antigen antibodies) found that the incidence rate of liver cancer in these high-risk subjects was 11 times higher than the total incidence rate in the city. However, these high-risk groups can actually avoid liver cancer: as long as these people receive an alpha-fetoprotein test and a B-ultrasound examination every six months, liver cancer can be detected in its early stages, and nearly half of the patients can undergo surgical resection.

Pay attention to food hygiene

Liver cancer patients must pay attention to diet. People with unhealthy lifestyles are prone to various diseases, including liver cancer. One of the causes of liver cancer is caused by viruses. To prevent hepatitis B virus, we must start with dietary hygiene and lifestyle habits. Wash hands frequently and separate meals. It is worth noting that people with hepatitis cannot be chefs. Do not eat moldy or mushy food, as this type of food contains aflatoxin, which is carcinogenic. Eating moldy food can also easily cause liver cancer.

Preventing hepatitis

Generally, many patients may first have hepatitis or other liver diseases, and then if they are not treated in time, they will develop into liver cancer. Using hepatitis vaccines to prevent hepatitis and thus liver cancer has become one of the most promising ways to prevent liver cancer. Not only should children be vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine when they are born, but adults who have not been vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine and have not had hepatitis can also be vaccinated with hepatitis B vaccine. However, it is estimated that it will take decades to see the effect. In addition to injecting hepatitis B vaccine, attention should also be paid to the control of other transmission routes, such as diet, surgery, blood transfusion, injection, acupuncture and hairdressing.

Quit smoking and drinking

Smoking and drinking are also bad for fatty liver. People think that drinking wine, beer, or a small amount of alcohol can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. In fact, this is not true. Alcohol is harmful to the human body. The gastric mucosa in the stomach protects the human body. Alcohol can digest the gastric mucosa, injure the cells of the stomach, and the toxic substances in the food are easily absorbed by the stomach. This can easily cause alcoholic hepatitis, reduce the immune function of the liver and the whole body, and damage the detoxification function of the liver. This is why people who drink have poor detoxification function and are prone to alcoholic cirrhosis, and some cirrhosis will turn into liver cancer.

Do not drink polluted water

You must pay attention to not drinking polluted water, otherwise it will cause great harm to your body. You must drink water from a quick source. Drinking water should not be polluted. Drinking water with chemical substances can easily cause cancer. Tap water is not necessarily clean. There are water tanks on the roofs of high-rise buildings with more than 5 floors. The water tanks should be cleaned by a dedicated person, and it is best to perform secondary disinfection. The water tank body should also use chemical substances that will not pollute water.
