Liver cancer is a relatively serious oncological disease. It is quite common in our daily lives, but once it occurs, it will seriously affect the patient's health. Some patients will be threatened with life and health after developing liver cancer. For liver cancer, we need to find a way to treat it. First of all, we need to understand the diagnostic criteria and grading types of liver cancer. Next, let's share an article about primary liver cancer.

Generally speaking, liver cancer is divided into primary and secondary. However, for primary liver cancer, its diagnostic criteria can be analyzed through examination items. If the AFp is found to be about 400 units during the examination, metastatic liver cancer tumors are excluded, and when you touch it with your hands, you can clearly feel that the liver is enlarged and has nodular masses. This type accounts for the majority of degenerative diseases.

If AFp is less than 400 units during the test, metastatic liver cancer is excluded, and the characteristics of liver cancer can be determined through imaging examinations. For the clinical manifestations of liver cancer, bloody ascites can be clearly seen with the naked eye, or cancer cells can be found, and patients with metastatic liver cancer can be excluded. The above are the diagnostic criteria for liver cancer tumors. Liver cancer tumors can be diagnosed through imaging examinations.

The staging criteria for liver cancer can be analyzed by the size and diameter of the tumor. If the largest single tumor is less than three centimeters in diameter and there is no metastasis, this type is graded Child A. If a single tumor or two tumors are larger than five centimeters and there is metastasis in distant places, the liver function is graded Child A. If the sum of a single tumor or two tumors is less than ten centimeters, the liver function is graded Child A.
