How to treat ovarian tumors

If there is metastasis, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are also needed after surgery, otherwise the chance of recurrence will be relatively high, and the body's immunity will be relatively low after radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Malignant tumors must be removed, and then radiotherapy and chemotherapy will be decided based on the metastasis. If there are no symptoms and the tumor is not particularly large, it can be treated through laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery, which will cause less damage and faster recovery. So eat more high-protein, nutritious foods.

How is ovarian tumor surgery performed?

For benign ovarian cysts, laparotomy is often performed to remove the ovarian cyst and perform an oophoroplasty at the same time. For benign ovarian cysts, laparoscopic ovarian cyst removal and oophoroplasty are often performed. For malignant ovarian cancer, laparoscopic ovarian tumor reduction surgery and lymph node dissection are performed. For malignant ovarian cysts, that is, ovarian cancer, ovarian tumor reduction surgery and lymph node dissection are usually performed.

Symptoms of benign ovarian tumors:

If it is an ovarian chocolate cyst, dysmenorrhea will occur. Most ovarian tumors have no clinical symptoms in the early stage. They are discovered through gynecological examinations and B-ultrasound examinations. When the ovarian tumor grows to a certain extent, symptoms such as lower abdominal pain, backache, frequent urination and urgency will appear. If the ovarian tumor has pedicle torsion, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, chills and fever will appear. Benign ovarian tumors within 5cm can temporarily avoid surgical treatment. When the benign ovarian tumor is larger than 5cm, surgical treatment is required. Ovarian tumors include benign ovarian tumors and malignant ovarian tumors. Benign ovarian tumors are more common in ovarian teratomas, ovarian chocolate cysts and ovarian simple cysts.
