What is the connection between cervical erosion and cervical precancerous lesions? What are the typical symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions?

Is cervical erosion related to cervical precancerous lesions?

70% of patients diagnosed with cervical cancer have varying degrees of cervical erosion (regardless of physiological pathology). A normal smooth cervix may be infected with the HPV virus. In other words, an erosive cervix is more likely to be infected with HPV than a normal cervix. Cervical precancerous lesions are more likely to develop. The following is an expert introduction to cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), a cervical precancerous lesion.

Cervical precancerous lesions can be divided into grades I to III, reflecting the continuous pathological process of CIN.

Grade I: Mild dysmorphism.

Grade II: moderate atypia.

III Moderate atypia and carcinoma in situ.

Most low-grade CIN can regress spontaneously, but high-grade CIN precancer lesions may develop into precancerous lesions.

Screening for CIN and timely treatment of high-grade lesions are effective measures to prevent cervical cancer.

Please be careful if you have the following symptoms.

Typical symptoms

Indirect bleeding after sexual intercourse or gynecological examinations, occasionally increased vaginal discharge or an odor

Factors related to disease

1.HpV infection.

At present, there are more than 120 types of HPV, among which more than 10 types are closely related to the incidence of CIN and cervical cancer. It can be said that 93%-100% of cervical cancer patients are found to have high-risk types. HPV infection.

2. Number of sexual activities and childbirths.

Multiple sexual partners, first sexual intercourse before the age of 16, and early childbirth are associated with cervical cancer. The cervix is immature during adolescence and is sensitive to carcinogens. The probability of cervical trauma increases with the number of childbirths.

3. Other factors.

Smoking can increase the risk of HPV infection, and barrier contraception has a certain protective effect.

Expert Tip: If you have sex before the age of 16 or have multiple sexual partners, you should go to the hospital every six months for cervical cancer screening. Cervical cancer is now the only cancer that can be detected and treated early. Because cervical cancer is no longer a minority of women who leave us, don't think it's far away from us. Don't think that the absence of obvious symptoms is unimportant. There are no nerve cells in the cervix. That's why many women are checked for precancerous lesions.
