The food intake should be from less to more, from thin to thick, and gradually adapt to eating slowly. In order to reduce the burden on the stomach, it is generally better to eat 5 to 6 times a day. At the same time, pay attention to avoid overly sweet, salty, and overly thick foods. If you experience nausea, bloating, and other symptoms after eating, you should stop eating.
What should gastric cancer patients eat after surgery? They can eat soft rice after discharge, and the staple food and food should be nutritious and easy to digest. Avoid cold, fried, and irritating foods, such as hot and sour foods that are easy to cause bloating. Patients should eat slowly, eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and avoid high-fat foods, salt, added iron ore substances and vitamin A. Alcohol, tobacco, and regular diet are prohibited. 3-6 months after surgery, gradually resume normal diet according to physical condition.
Gastric cancer patients should avoid smoking, drinking, eating moldy food, and fasting hard, rough, and irritating substances. They can walk slowly, take a proper walk, and gently massage their abdomen for about 15 minutes every day, morning and evening, which can help the stomach absorb and digest. Many gastric cancer patients and their families are very concerned, but it is difficult to give a definite answer. Because the life expectancy after gastric cancer surgery varies from person to person.
