How long does liver cancer interventional surgery take? Introduction to drugs

Liver cancer can be treated surgically in the early stages, but there is still a certain risk for some older patients with hypertension, because other symptoms are likely to appear during the operation. However, in general, interventional surgery can be used for treatment. The specific treatment time depends on the patient's condition and recovery status to determine the length of the operation.

Individualized comprehensive treatment according to the different stages of liver cancer is the key to improving the efficacy; treatment methods include surgery, hepatic artery ligation, hepatic artery chemoembolization, radiofrequency, cryosurgery, laser, microwave, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Biological treatment and traditional Chinese medicine are also widely used in the treatment of liver cancer.

Interventional treatment for liver cancer should be performed at least once a month or one and a half months apart, and the specific time depends on the patient's condition. During the intervention, it is recommended to combine it with traditional Chinese medicine treatment to reduce the side effects of the intervention and consolidate the therapeutic effect.

Traditional Chinese medicine has a strong holistic concept in treatment, which can make up for the shortcomings of Western medicine and improve the drug resistance of Western medicines; the combination of the two can control the progression of the disease while improving the patient's immunity and disease resistance, enhancing physical fitness, improving the patient's quality of life and prolonging survival.

Interventional surgery for liver cancer depends on the course of treatment. Generally, at least three courses are required, which take about two months. For a single interventional surgery, the preparation time is about half an hour. Generally, the skin needs to be prepared, disinfected, then enter the operating room, anesthetized, injected, wound treated, and finally return to the ward to keep the wound under pressure for a period of time.

Inhibiting the growth of cancer cells and enhancing the body's immunity may ultimately achieve the goal of defeating cancer, and can prevent residual cancer cells from making a comeback and prevent recurrence and metastasis.
