What are the chemotherapy options for liver cancer? These two treatments can be used

Chemotherapy regimen for liver cancer Chemotherapy for liver cancer can be carried out in two ways: single-drug chemotherapy and combination chemotherapy.

(I) Single-agent chemotherapy In existing Phase I and III clinical trials, the reoponserate (RR) of most chemotherapy drugs is less than 20%, and none of them can definitely improve the survival rate in Phase III trials. They include doxoubicin, epirubicin, mitoxantrone, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), capecitabine, paclitaxel, irinotecan, topotecan, etoposide, cladribin, gemcitabine, cisplatin, raltitrexed, and nolatrexed.
(II) Combination chemotherapy Many regimens use anthracyclines + 5-Fu, plus a third drug (CCNU, VM-26, mitomycin C). Compared with many single-drug regimens, the PIAF regimen (daunorubicin/5-Fu/cisplatin/IFN-a) has a longer median survival (7-10 months). However, its effective rate (RR) is not higher than that of anthracycline alone, and these stronger regimens may have selection bias, and multi-drug combination regimens also increase the toxicity and side effects of drugs.
In addition, if conditions permit, you can take Jinxing (ginsenoside Rh2) capsules to cooperate with chemotherapy. Doctors and websites recommend ginsenoside Rh2, which has obvious advantages over similar products. While reducing the toxic and side effects of chemotherapy, it can increase the effect of chemotherapy, reduce the number of chemotherapy times, reduce the side effects of chemotherapy, and better prevent the recurrence of cancer cells.
