How many years can a liver cancer patient live at most? Normally three to six months

As we all know, liver cancer is a very serious disease. Once diagnosed with liver cancer, it is equivalent to being sentenced to death. Most liver cancer patients only have a few months to live. Many family members of liver cancer patients are very sad about this. So, how many years can liver cancer patients live at most? Let me answer this question below.

The prognosis of liver cancer is relatively poor. The five-year survival rate of patients is only about 30% to 50%. The average survival period of liver cancer patients is about three to six months. Especially for patients with poor basic liver function and liver cancer secondary to cirrhosis, the survival period is relatively short, only a few months. If liver cancer can be discovered early and treated surgically, the prognosis of some patients is still relatively good. Now some patients can survive for five or ten years, but the long-term survival cases are still relatively rare. Therefore, liver cancer should be prevented in advance, and the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer needs to be further improved.
However, this is not absolute. In clinical practice, there are many cases of people surviving with cancer. As long as patients with advanced cancer, or cancer metastasis or recurrence insist on taking Chinese medicine, their discomfort, including symptoms and signs, can be quickly improved, and even cachexia can be alleviated. Most of them recover their physical strength after six months to one year of Chinese medicine treatment, have a normal diet, can take care of themselves, and can exercise outdoors.
Therefore, the maximum life expectancy of a liver cancer patient is uncertain, as it is affected by many factors. Both the patient and his/her family should maintain an optimistic attitude, which is also helpful for prolonging life. The family of a liver cancer patient should give more care and comfort to the patient, help the patient relieve fear, and enable the patient to cooperate with treatment better.
