How is endometrial cancer staged? It is divided into four stages according to the situation

Endometrial cancer is divided into four stages, mainly based on surgical staging. After surgery, it is divided into four stages according to the scope of the surgical lesion and the metastasis, which are also stage I, stage II, stage III, and stage IV. Stage I is relatively early, stage II means that endometrial cancer invades the cervix and exceeds the scope of the uterine cavity; stage III is beyond the uterus but still confined to the pelvic cavity; stage IV is beyond the pelvic cavity to other organs, such as intestinal mucosa, bladder mucosa, and distant liver and lungs.

At present, patients with endometrial cancer should first consider that the condition of endometrial cancer is changeable. In addition, patients should consider the particularity of endometrial cancer when treating it. If they find any problems, they should go to the hospital for examination in time to understand the specific changes of endometrial cancer. Patients should determine the treatment plan through the examination of endometrial cancer. Such treatment is more targeted. So, how is endometrial cancer staged?
Endometrial cancer can generally be divided into early, middle and late stages according to symptoms, or I, II, III, etc. These are mainly divided according to the symptoms and condition of endometrial cancer, and different treatments are implemented according to different disease conditions. The first one is the first stage of endometrial cancer. At this time, the tumor in the patient's uterus is still confined to the patient's uterine body. This is the earliest stage of the disease. Gradually, if the length of the uterine cavity is ≤8cm, it reaches stage 1a. If the length of the uterine cavity is >8cm, it reaches stage 1b.
Another thing is that if the tumor in the patient's uterus has affected the patient's cervix, it has reached the second stage of endometrial cancer. At this time, there will be some mild symptoms, but they often do not attract special attention and may even be misdiagnosed.
Also, if the tumor spreads outside the uterus but is still confined to the pelvic cavity, this can be called stage three. If the tumor spreads in the pelvic cavity but involves the bladder or rectum, or spreads outside the pelvic cavity, this is the latest stage four.
The treatment of endometrial cancer can be divided into conservative treatment and surgery. These two different treatment options are mainly determined by the patient's physical condition, the doctor's choice based on the patient's physical fitness and the comprehensive consideration of the condition. Once the female patient with this cancer also has uterine cavity pyometra, the patient often has different degrees of fever symptoms. Of course, once the cancer patient reaches the late stage, the patient can feel the abdominal mass. Active treatment is needed.
