What are the stages of endometrial cancer? It is divided into these four stages

Endometrial cancer can be divided into ten stages according to its symptoms. The symptoms will become more severe as the stage increases, and finally spread to other distant organs in the body. There are many symptoms of endometrial cancer, such as bleeding, vaginal discharge, pain, abdominal mass, etc. In order to avoid worsening of the disease, active treatment should be carried out after these symptoms appear.

The uterus is one of the most important organs of women. Many women say that without the uterus, they are not complete women. However, cancer is rampant nowadays. Any organ can develop cancer, including the uterus. This is particularly harmful to women. So, what are the stages of endometrial cancer?
Endometrial cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. The incidence of this disease is extremely high, accounting for 20% to 30% of female gynecological malignancies. Endometrial cancer is generally divided into four stages. The first stage is mainly primary cancer; the second stage is cancer that has invaded the cervical stroma; the third stage is uterine cancer that has invaded outward but is limited to the pelvic cavity; the fourth stage is cancer that has metastasized to the bladder or rectum.
Endometrial cancer is divided into two types, endometrial cancer type I and type II. Most patients with endometrial cancer are type I, which accounts for about 80% of the incidence of endometrial cancer, usually due to excessive estrogen. This type of endometrial cancer mainly occurs in young, perimenopausal women and has a better prognosis. A small group of about 20% belongs to type II endometrial cancer, which mainly occurs in elderly people after menopause and has a poor prognosis after treatment.
Irregular vaginal bleeding is the main symptom of endometrial cancer, often accompanied by a small amount or moderate bleeding. In young women or women in menopause, it is often mistaken for irregular menstruation and ignored. Postmenopausal women are more likely to have persistent or intermittent vaginal bleeding. Some patients only experience a small amount of vaginal bleeding after menopause. Late bleeding may be accompanied by rotting fleshy tissue.
